Yes. PriceNow is free for shoppers and you don't need an account. Some retailers partner with us and we may earn a commission when you click through to them — it never affects the ranking, which is always by price, and it never changes what you pay.

Type or paste the model number straight into the search box — for example MSZ-AP35VGKD. Dashes, spaces and capitals don't matter, and an exact model match is shown at the top of the results. Barcodes (EAN/UPC) work the same way.

Each price is captured from the retailer's own listing and re-checked on a schedule. Product pages show the date the price was captured. Retailers can change a price at any moment, so always confirm on their site before you buy.

All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Delivery is listed separately, and on a product page you can switch to 'including delivery' to rank the offers by what you actually pay at checkout.

Because that's the only store we currently track selling that exact item. As we connect more retailers the extra offers appear on the same page automatically — nothing to do at your end.

Click the ⇄ button on any product card to add it to the compare tray at the bottom of the screen, add up to four products, then open the comparison to see prices and specifications lined up in one table.

Tap the heart on a product to add it to your watchlist, and set a target price if you want one. Your watchlist is stored in your browser on this device — clearing site data clears the list.

No. There is no sign-up. Everything personal to you — your watchlist, compare tray and light/dark preference — stays in your own browser.

Yes. PriceNow is a progressive web app: in Chrome or Edge use 'Install app' from the address bar or menu, and on iPhone or iPad use Share, then 'Add to Home Screen'. It opens full screen and loads instantly.
